Berikut adalah cara Yvonne menggambarkan pengalamannya pada jaringan NHNE NDE nya:
Pada tahun 2008, krisis kehidupan yang di alami Yvonne Sneeden yaitu pengalaman mendekati kematian/NDE. Selama pengalamannya, Yvonne memasuki alam surga dan bertemu tuhan Yesus dan berbagai para makhluk malaikat.
"NDE saya terjadi pada Juni 2008. saya meninggal karena tekanan emosional ekstrim dan keinginan saya untuk mengakhiri hidup. saya tiba-tiba diangkat ke surga. tuhan Yesus datang ke arah saya dalam bentuk cahaya tembus. Seperti Dia menyentuh saya, saya merasa benar-benar merasakan Cinta-Nya, cinta seorang bapa yang ideal kepada anaknya, perasaan aman, penerimaan, dikasihi, disayangi. Dia membungkus saya dalam kasih-Nya sepenuhnya dan dia menciumku dengan cara yang paling murni, di wajah saya, mata, pipi dan bibir seperti Ibu yang mencium bayinya dengan kelembutan. Meskipun Dia adalah dalam bentuk energi-Nya aku merasa semua ekspresi sayang ini untuk saya.
"Di bumi, aku berada di sebuah hubungan yang sulit dan bingung apakah akan tinggal dengan orang yang saya pacari seperti yang kita sering berdebat atau untuk meninggalkan dia. Seperti jika aku tahu aku akan kembali di bumi, saya bertanya kepada Yesus apa yang harus saya lakukan. Dia membuat saya mengerti bahwa ia mencintai Steve (nama diubah) sama-sama sebanyak dia mencintaiku, tapi aku harus mengatakan tidak untuk hubungan ini karena Steve telah memutuskan untuk fokus pada cinta kehendak dalam suatu hubungan dan tidak begitu banyak pada cinta emosi seperti aku dan bahwa kita tidak pernah akan menjadi pertandingan yang baik. Dia mengatakan bahwa tanpa penilaian atau rasa bersalah perasaan, hanya sebuah pernyataan.
"Tepat setelah itu ia tiba-tiba mengambil bentuk manusia dan dia tampak seperti Yesus yang secara tradisional digambarkan. Dia berjalan di sebelah kiri saya dan kami berada di lingkungan yang sangat brilian dengan bersinar sangat indah dengan sukacita effervescent. Itu seperti jalan megah pada hari yang sangat cerah di terbaik hari liburan musim panas. Aku bisa melihat beberapa bangunan indah di kejauhan. Seluruh atmosfer menyerap cinta, cahaya, sukacita, kebahagiaan, kedamaian, keamanan, dan segala sesuatu yang jauh mungkin. Tiba-tiba, aku merasa di sebelah kananku beberapa kehadiran datang dan berbalik untuk melihat dan di sana aku melihat sekitar selusin malaikat muda dengan jubah warna-warni panjang membuat ada cara untuk beberapa tempat. Salah satu dari mereka menatapku dan kemudian menoleh ke arah Yesus. Ketika ia melihat Yesus, wajahnya benar-benar bersinar dengan cahaya yang luar biasa karena sukacita yang ia rasakan. Mereka semua bergegas di tangan-Nya dan setelah adegan itu, Yesus mengatakan kepada mereka telepati bahwa kali ini adalah untuk dibagikan dengan saya dan menawarkan mereka kembali ke malaikat guru mereka. Saya melihat di mana mereka pergi dan aku melihat sekitar 6 atau 7 malaikat perempuan yang megah dengan jubah putih panjang tersenyum pada kami / saya dengan cinta, kebaikan, kelembutan, sukacita, rasa hormat, pertimbangan, kemurnian, cahaya dan penerimaan. Tak satu pun dari perasaan negatif mendapati di muka bumi. Anak-anak malaikat kembali ke guru mereka.
"Saya kemudian mengatakan Yesus aku terlalu lelah untuk kembali di bumi, hidup itu sangat sulit dan bahwa banyak orang yang berarti, egois, tidak loyal, setia, tidak tertarik pada cinta tanpa syarat. Saya berkata saya tidak akan membuatnya. Dia menatapku dan tiba-tiba berdiri di ruang di depan saya. Dia memperluas ukuran menjadi 9 atau 10 kaki tinggi. Dia kemudian berkata 'Yvonne, saya akan mengisi Anda dengan kekuatan dan energi saya. The Near-Death Experience of Yvonne Sneeden
In 2008, a life crisis lead to Yvonne Sneeden having a near-death like experience. During her experience, Yvonne entered a heavenly realm and encountered Jesus and various angelic beings. Yvonne is the creator of ThinkHeavenNow (THENOW), a member of both IANDS (International Association for Near Death Studies) and ACISTE (American Center for the Integration of Spiritually Transformative Experiences). She is currently working in collaboration with Sabine Van Den Bulke, psychotherapist and movement therapist with expertise in NDE Experiencers, in bringing spiritual and emotional support to help near-death experiencers cope with NDE after-effects.
Here's how Yvonne described what happened to her:
"A little before my NDE, I had felt a lot of heart arrhythmia and had been monitored for that. The cardiologist said that my heart was stable but if I was going on this road, I would have heart failure. I had nights with a lot of heart beat arrhythmia -- and my NDE happened a couple of weeks later. The difficulty is that I was at home on my own, and not surrounded by family and friends, so there will be no way to prove medically that I died. However, I did feel my organs shutting down and as this was happening, I felt myself leaving my body, so I consider myself having had an NDE without medical confirmation. I understand that people need medical evidence to categorize that under an NDE. I have the side effects of the NDE, too, in my daily life. I am OK with you putting it the way you want NDE or NDE-like. I know I went out of this world and I am confident about my entire journey there. Anything else is secondary to me..."

"My NDE occurred in June 2008. My body was shutting down due to extreme emotional distress and my desire to just stop living. I was suddenly transported in a place I call heaven. Jesus was coming towards me in an energy/light/translucent form. As He touched me, I felt completely embraced by His Love, both Father's and Mother's love, the love you feel for the ideal parent when you are a child: safety, acceptance, loved, cherished. He wrapped me in His love completely and He kissed me in the purest way, on my face, eyes, cheeks and lips like a Mother kisses her baby with tenderness. Though He was in His energy form I felt all these expression of affection for me.
"On earth, I was in a difficult relationship and was confused on whether to stay with the man I was dating as we were often arguing or to leave him. As if I knew I was coming back on earth, I asked Jesus what I had to do. He telepathically made me understand that He loved Steve (changed name) equally as much as He did love me, but that I had to say no to this relationship because Steve had decided to focus on the love of will in a relationship and not so much on the love of emotions like I had and that we will never be a good match. He said that without judgment or guilt feeling, just a statement.
"Right after that He suddenly took a human form and he looked like the Jesus who is traditionally portrayed. He walked on my left and we were in a very brilliant environment with an extremely beautiful glowing with an effervescent joy. It was like a magnificent road on a very sunny day in the best summer vacation day. I could see some beautiful building in the distance. The entire atmosphere was permeating love, light, joy, happiness, peace, safety, and everything was infinitely possible. Suddenly, I felt to my right some presence coming and turn around to see and there I saw about a dozen of young angels with long colorful robes making there way to some places. One of them looked at me and then turned his head towards Jesus. When he saw Jesus, his face literally shone with incredible light because of the joy he felt. They all rushed in His arms and after that scene, Jesus told them telepathically that this time was to be shared with me and offered they go back to their teacher angels. I look where they went and I saw about 6 or 7 magnificent female angels with long white robes smiling at us/me with love, kindness, tenderness, joy, respect, consideration, purity, light and acceptance. None of the negative feelings find on earth. The children angels went back to their teachers.
"I then told Jesus I was too tired to go back on earth, life was terribly difficult and that many people were mean, selfish, disloyal, unfaithful, uninterested in unconditional love. I told Him I would not make it. He looked at me and suddenly stood in space in front of me. He expanded in size to be 9 or 10 foot tall. He then said "Yvonne, I will fill you with my strength and energy." I felt an incredible energy fill my entire being; every core of my being was filled with this regenerating energy. He then said to me (everything is telepathically in heaven) "I have so much love for my babies (meaning us) and I said I understood. He went on: "I want to show you how much." He took my 'heart' or my being, my identity, the energy that is me, and He merged it, blended it with His heart and for a moment we were One. I could feel all His feelings of love. It was mind blowing -- waves of love, of energy, millions of love-related emotions, light, power, love. So strong that I became Him. I was Jesus, the same way I was Yvonne, feeling every atom of this powerful heavenly explosion of love for lack of better words. It stopped suddenly and without words, only a knowing, I understood that my time with Jesus in Heaven was coming to an end and it was time for me to come back on earth. Heaven's love has kept me going with a complete renewed joy."
